Q - How do you regain the focus for our team after a difficult patient? 

A - Gather everyone up for what I call the Two-Minute Rewind and Refresh -(sometimes we start off the mornng or the after lunch shift with this too.)  Here is how it works.  You share the mission statement (Lesson Five in the Magic Business Sucess Course) and remind everyone we have a mission and purpose that matters. That gets everyone's mindset right again. 

Q - OK, I can see how the Two-minute refresh works, but how do you keep it from getting stale?

A - Great question Doc.  Here is two strategies that accomlish a couple good things. The first one is to pick a team captain for the office. If I put it in sports terms, you are the team owner. Using my Bold Leadership strategies, you choose one person per week to be the team coach. The coach is in charge of the two minute refresh. Second: He or she may keep or assign this leaderdhip opportunity to anyone they choose. 

This will give them a great deal of confidence, and ownership for the teams mindset. 

Here is one more idea. We have a Floor Dial.  Remember when we were really young and played spin-the-bottle at parties?  Well it works about the same way.  We spin the dial on the floor and the person it lands on in charge of the Two minute refresh.
